I still love watching this video of our trip.
If they built it, we did come! On May 21st, 2011, my son and I began the father and son adventure of a lifetime! We departed from Phoenix, AZ on a 7-week road trip and drove around the country to see a game at, or tour every major league baseball park - a trip that covered 11,232 miles. Our baseball trip concluded on July 12th with us attending the All Star Game at Chase Field. This blog is a diary of our experience.

Happy fourth anniversary to the father and son trip of a lifetime!
Twenty-eight major league ballparks in seven weeks. It was four years ago today, and with every year that passes, I still can't believe Michael and I did this. He's about a foot taller now, he's finishing his first year of high school today, and he's shaving. But no matter how big he gets, and how "uncool" I may become to him as he becomes a bratty teenager, we will always have the seven weeks we spent together on our baseball trip.
I still love watching this video of our trip.
