Home Sweet Home

We made it to Chicago and so did Helen and Andie.  Of course, we have had a flawless trip so far.  It was clear all the way up from St. Louis until we drove to Midway to pick up the girls.  All of a sudden, a HUGE thunderstorm rolled in and dumped tons of rain on our parade.  We had planned an architectural boat ride through the Chicago River about 5pm, but it got rained out - the first planned event that was thwarted and it happened 5 minutes into our Chicago visit.

Oh well, we grabbed dinner at Giordanos' Pizza where the following line was uttered by my beautiful daughter: "Ummmmm good pizza dad.  It taste just like Peter Pipers."  She has now been disowned for blasphemy!!

Anyway, the KC and St. Louis videos will debut possibly tonight and early tomorrow morning and our updated rankings too.  Tomorrow morning, we head over to Wrigley Field to get the most expensive tour - $25/person - of the entire MLB.  Hey Cubs, don't flatter yourself.  If you had won a few World Series, I could see how you could justify that price.  But I don't need to spend $100 on my family so they can smell stale beer and sense the presence of Haray Caray.  I could do that on Rush Street for free.

Oh well, we'll have the review tomorrow.

Sweet home Chicago!

We are heading out today to what we hope will be a great four days in Chicago.  It should be a great time in my home town.
